Designing services that work.
You probably don’t know that you need a service designer.
But if you serve a user, customer, client or patron in some way, you do.
A bit about me
My name is Douglas. I’ve been designing things and services since 2004. With a stronger focus on sustainability since 2008.
I’ve worn many hats. But the one with two sides; ‘service designer’ and ‘sustainability’ is the one that’s most well-worn.
What I do
I help organisations design and deliver services that work by:
- Fixing existing services
- Creating new services
- Thinking through possible consequences
- Moderating creativity and decision-making workshops
- Talking about design and sustainability
How I work
It’s simple and adult:
- We meet and talk.
- We agree on a first step, which we then take together.
- We keep going. Or not.
